Serunai Laut
| Locally known as Serunai laut or 'Flute of the Sea',
this plant is usually found along coastal araeas and muddy soil. Its shoots are often
eaten raw like a salad. The plant, including its yellow flowers, could be used to treat a
wide variety of ailments including cuts, insect bites, ulcers, varicose veins,
constipation and hypertension.
