Special Incentives For Industries Locating In The eastern corridor of Pen. Malaysia Sabah and Sarawak
The Eastern corridor of peninsular Malaysia covers the states of Kelantan ,Terengganu,pahang except for the districts of Lipis,raub,Jerantut & Cameron Highland ,but the including the industrial estates approved by the start Government in these districts.For Johor ,the corridor only cover the district of merging.
Income tax exemption on 85 % (Normal 70% ) of statutory income for 5 year.
ITA of 80% (normal 60%) on qualifying capital expenditure incurred for 5 year subject to a maximum of 85% (normal 70%) of statutory income for a year of assessment.
Unutilised allowances can be carried forward to subsequent years.

Incentives For Small Scale Manufacturing Computer
Definition
Small-Scale Manufacturing Companies are Companies with shareholders funds not exceeding RM500,000,and having at least 70% Malaysia equity.
Pioneer status if the company manufactures promoted products or participates in promoted activities and fulfill one of the following criteria :
- Product are substituting import ,with local content of more than 50%
- Exports 50% or more
- Provide linkages
- Contributes towards rural development.
Reinvestment Allowance( RA )
RA of 60% on qualifying capital expenditure is granted to manufacturing companies which incur capital expenditure for any of the following :
- Expansion of production facilities
- Modernisation & upgrading of production facilities
- Diversification activities
-The utilisation of RA is restricted to 70% statutory income.
-RA is in addition to normal capital allowances.

Human Research Development Fund (HRDF) Scheme
- Effective 1.1.95 manufacturing companies which employ 10 but not more than 50 employees and with a paid-up capital of RM2.5 million and above,will also have to contribute 1% of the monthly wages of their employees as HRDF levy.
- Effective 2.8.1996, manufacturing companies which employ 10 but not more than 50 employees and with paid-up capital of less than RM2.5 million will have the option of paying the levy at the rate of 0.5% of the employees monthly wages. To assist these employers the Government will contribute RM2.00 of every RM1.00 contribution by them. In other word if an employer under this category contributes RM5,000 per year, he will be eligible to apply for training grants up to the maximum of RM15,000
